What do I get when I join the Rachel’s Kitchen franchise system?
You and your partners or key management staff will receive up to three weeks (and at least 10 days) of classroom and on-the-job training covering all important aspects of running your business. You will have assistance in locating and setting up your restaurant, too. You’ll also receive, among other things, a detailed operations manual, the rights to use our exclusive trademarks and recipes, plus access to our approved suppliers and proprietary products.
What type of restaurant or business experience is RDR Inc. looking for in franchise owners?
A background in the restaurant industry is certainly a plus, but not a requirement. Rest assured, we will provide the training you need to adopt and use our systems and procedures.
What is the initial franchise fee?
The franchise fee for a single-unit franchise is $30,000. These fees fund our pre-opening support of your operations, including site selection assistance, initial training, and onsite help.
How much is the initial investment?
The estimated required investment ranges between $210,450 and $359,300. As with any new business venture, it is important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.
What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of your franchise agreement is ten years, with three subsequent five-year renewal terms.
What ongoing fees are paid to RDR Inc.?
Franchisees will be required to pay a royalty of 6%. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of new products, procedures, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.
What about advertising fees?
Franchisees will be required to spend $3000 – $5000 on local marketing. Franchisees will also contribute up to 5% of revenues toward a system marketing fund. Funds are used to develop marketing strategies to promote the concepts and brands and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials.
